THE OTHER SIDE OF SALVATION: AVOIDING THE DECEPTION OF UNSAVED CHRISTIANITY
An unsaved Christian? Certainly these are two words that don't belong together---or do they? Can such a dynamic exist? Yes. Simply put, an unsaved Christian is an individual who embarks on living the Christian life without the benefit of being saved. The unsaved Christian of which we speak, truly believes that they are saved—only they don’t know that in reality, they are actually living on the other side of salvation —which is where salvation does not exist. How can this be and how can this deficiency be overcome? Unpacking this very real condition is what this book is all about. We will endeavor to 'unblur' the line between both the saved and unsaved conditions by revealing the unfortunate particulars that make unsaved Christianity a growing reality and laying out what true salvation is, and declaring the only way out of this disturbing state.

Another Insightful Book From Pastor Michael Jakes
This was my husband's reading material during the total solar eclipse on April 8th. Pastor Jakes is a writer and speaker that we have followed and trust to have good, reliable content. This particular book talks about people in the church that are going through the motions, but don't have an authentic relationship with Jesus and God. The purpose of the book I believe is to have people take a look at their own lives and to make sure that there faith is real, as well as pointing out that not everyone who calls themselves a Christian actually are. This is the 4th book of his that we own, and it's another book that is right on point. He also has an online ministry called, "That's The Word! Ministries," where he does 4 teachings a week that is also great. We found Michael Jakes by reading an article on Bible Study Tools, and love that he is focused on the cross and accurately dividing the Word of truth.
Great read
What I like most about this book is it gave a wonderful break down of what an unsaved Christian is and the hope that no one is too far for God to reach. It definitely kept me accountable there were some parts I felt convicted and other parts encouraged. Overall this was a great read! would def recommend!
